I’ts no secret that we all want our Facebook marketing strategy to explode. At first glance, you may think that having a successful marketing campaign only applies if you have a ton of fans. 

Since we all can see that these big time bloggers and entrepreneurs are becoming so successful on Facebook, and yet they have 10K-20K fans on their fan pages, and we tend to think that this is when success comes…but you can be just as successful with a small group of fans as these people are with their large groups!

It’s all about targeting and contact. I heard the owner of Social Triggers say that he would rather have 1,000 targeted fans than 100,000 fans in general. This is true. The more targeted the fan, the more likely they will be to interact on your fan page updates and be prompted to perform some type of action on it.

So what if you don’t have a lot of followers? That doesn’t mean that you can’t still be successful and make some cash online! Take myself for example, I don’t have what the masses would call a lot of fans on my Facebook page.

Images and Interaction :

No matter what niche you’re in, people always react to the right image. Just recently I have been testing out different images that prompt interaction alone. No clicking on a link, just simply interacting on the blog. I found that when you present something interesting or useful…and even something fun to do, people will interact with you on that image! This was less than 20 minutes into the update as well.  So as you can see, getting interaction from people is as simple as finding out what they like.  Most people will actually perform some sort of action on your updates if it’s funny or entertaining.

Interaction leads to traffic later :

Well I understand that this post is about getting interaction from Facebook, but I’m always one that is interested in getting the traffic as well.  Don’t get me wrong, I love interacting with my fans on Facebook!  There’s usually a ton of people that have written me messages and such, but getting the traffic is my main goal, and eventually converting them into faithful readers.  This usually leads to sales later down the road.

Images, links, what do your fans want to see?  If you’re a photography page, then perhaps people want to see something related to your talent in picture taking or help with editing a photo.  Whatever the case may be, people are always needing help with something and that’s where Facebook Offers comes in handy.

Facebook Offers is something you can offer your fans at a price that other people can’t get it at.  It’s a pat on the back for being a fan.  However Offers do cost money to use, and I can relate to some of you that may not want to spend any money for this, but there are some things you just can’t get around in your Facebook marketing.  It’s a necessary expense that will go in your favor later.

Depending on the situation, you can use Facebook Offers in a variety of different ways.  One way that I like is to share a product of yours with someone at a discounted price, like a webinar, coaching, or some other form of product that you have created.  This way it get’s the product out there fast and these people are more likely to share it to others as well.

Literally the best way to control your Facebook marketing is to have your fan page set up to funnel your sales and leads. Never thought of it like that?
